STOCKHOLM, 19-20 February 2020AIPSS at the 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety
The 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety was held in Stockholm (Sweden) on 19th and 20th February 2020.
Under the theme "Achieving Global Goals 2030", minister-led delegations from more than 80 countries attended the event co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO).
In addition, more than 1,700 stakeholders from the world of industry and research, international institutions and organizations representing around 140 countries took part in the conference..
The event began with an opening statement from His Majesty the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf.(in the picture Her Majesty together with the representatives of the 80 delegations)
The Chairman’s conclusions, called the “Stockholm Declaration”, was presented by the Swedish Minister for Infrastructure, Mr. Tomas Eneroth, as the outcome document of the Third Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety.
